Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information Reconstructo collects from homeowners and pros, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Reconstructo apps and website.

1. Information we collect

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

Account details you give us when you sign up, such as your name, email address, phone number, and, for pros, your business name, trades, service ZIP codes, and credential documents.

Project details you submit, including photos of your home, written descriptions, answers to intake questions, ZIP code, and the bids, messages, and reviews exchanged on the platform.

Device and usage information, such as app version, operating system, crash reports, and how you move through the app, used to keep the service reliable.

2. How we use information

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

To run the marketplace: turn your photos into a scope of work and cost range, match requests with pros, deliver bids and messages, and set up projects.

To verify pros, including checking licenses, insurance, and bonding against the records you provide.

To keep the service safe and improve it, including fraud prevention, support, and product analytics.

3. Photos and AI processing

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

Photos and descriptions you submit are processed by an AI service to draft a scope of work and a cost range. The output is a starting point for pros, not a quote.

We send only what is needed to produce the scope. We do not use your photos to train models.

4. How we share information

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

With pros who bid on your request: your first name, ZIP code, photos, and project details. Your full name, phone number, and address are shared only with the pro whose bid you accept.

With homeowners: a pro's business profile, verification status, licenses by state, insurance and bonding status, and reviews.

With service providers that host our infrastructure, send email and text messages, process payments on the web, and report errors. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.

When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Reconstructo, our users, or others.

5. How long we keep information

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

We keep your account information while your account is active. Project records, including photos, bids, and messages, are kept as long as needed to resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Some records may be retained where the law requires it.

6. Your choices and rights

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

You can update your profile, change notification settings, and delete your account from within the app or by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.

7. Children

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

Reconstructo is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

Draft — final wording to be confirmed

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
