Terms of Service

Reconstructo is a marketplace that connects homeowners with independent home-service pros. Homeowners describe a job with photos, receive an AI-drafted scope of work and cost range, and collect bids. Pros review requests and send bids.

Reconstructo is not a contractor and does not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work. Any agreement for work is between the homeowner and the pro.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. One account serves one role: homeowner or pro.

Pros must provide accurate business information and keep licenses, insurance, and bonding current where required. We may verify this information and may suspend accounts that fail verification.

The scope of work and cost range are generated from the information you provide and typical pricing data. They are estimates to help you compare bids, not quotes, and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Pros send bids using credits. A request accepts up to five bids and closes 48 hours after it is posted, or 24 hours for a direct invite. Incomplete bids and bids after the deadline are not accepted and are not charged.

If a request expires without an accepted bid, bid credits are refunded in full. If the homeowner accepts another pro's bid, credits for the other bids are refunded at 50%.

Reconstructo does not handle payments for the work itself. Homeowners pay pros directly under the terms they agree between themselves. Reconstructo's revenue comes from subscriptions, credits, and optional services, purchased on the web.

Chat opens when a pro sends a bid. Phone numbers and full addresses are shared only after the homeowner accepts a bid. Do not use the platform to move transactions off it.

After both parties confirm a project is complete, each may leave one review of the other. Reviews must be honest and cannot be edited after posting; disputes are handled by Reconstructo support.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, misrepresent your identity or credentials, harass other users, or interfere with the service.

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reconstructo disclaims all warranties and is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of any work, or for any indirect or consequential damages.

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
